because he's my best friend. because i can always spot him in the middle of a crowd. because i can never stay mad at him. because he listens to what i have to say. because he's a dork. because he hates scary movies. because he always makes my day, even if it's been the worst day ever. because he taught his sister my name was "rhino." because he has never cussed at me. because he writes me love letters. because i want to make him happy. because he's a puuhead. because i believe in him. because he appreciates me. because i feel more at home with him than anyone or anywhere else. because he looks forward to my crummy posts. because he puts up with my stupid questions. because he holds my hand when i drive. because he always makes sure i'm okay. because he sings for me even if he doesn't think he's good at it. because he's there for me. because he accepts me. because he makes me smile. because he's comfortable around me. because of the way i fit in his arms.

and most of all, because he was willing to take a chance.
